We use sophisticated structural support systems to make possible our distinctive open designs and abstract interior vaults. Our specialized methods exceed code standards, creating homes to last the ages. We bevel hip-and-valley rafters and ridge beams for straight-and-true drywall. Precision joinery, plumb-level-and-square... a frame so beautifully built, you might wish you didn't have to cover it up.

The Finest Ingredients

We demand our suppliers provide the best lumber: straight, clean and true. When even that isn't good enough, we hand-pick stock from the yard. Sheathing is a spec we just won't compromise: plywood and only plywood. We have never sheathed with flake-board – we never will.

Detail Oriented

What details you include are up to you. We offer custom-milled woodwork with hand-rubbed stain-and-oil finish and floating beams encased in cedar, hemlock, oak or pine. For the exterior of your home, we offer milled cedar deck rails, closed soffits of tongue-and-groove boards with routed edges, and hand-crafted corner boards and rakes. Each detail is carefully created for touches of enduring wood beauty inside and out.
